Youth Unemployment

With so many people out of work, it may be the young who are hurting the most in the job market.

The unemployment rate for 16 to 24-year-olds looking for a job is more than double the 8.2 percent unemployment rate nationwide.

Experts say in this economy, they're competing against more experienced workers also looking for a job.

Another problem?

Federal stimulus money for many programs that could lend a hand ran out in 2010.

Still officials say investing in youth now, will likely pay off in the long run.
