Ann Arbor, MI - He sold his last car, closed up shop and made a deal of a lifetime with his employees.
Having sold his Ann Arbor dealership Howard cooper told about 90 of his employees to gather, their final meeting was a doozey.
I handed out some significant bonuses based on seniority and how long they've been here.
1000 dollars for every year of service…no matter what the job. A worker with 30 years experience got 30-thousand dollars.
It was an emotional experience but it was a fun.

And one employee has been their 46 years, 1000 a year the math is easy. His wife Ann says Howard loves his workers.
I think he's a man that really admires loyalty and I think he had so many employees that had been here for 20, 30, 40 almost 50 years and I think he wanted to do something nice for them.
Cooper has sold the dealership to the Ohio based Germain motor company. He calls his first full day of retirement a feel good day.
