The Dothan zoning board has approved a building for a Women's Restoration Center.
The Ordinary Peoples Society, or TOPS applied for a building in September on Denton Road in September.
That request was denied, but a new location has been approved.
TOPS will go to the board again and request an additional building.
"Our concept is to embrace and provide community. We don't want to break up community, we want to actually bring a togetherness so that the people of the community will be example for those who are wanting to rebuild their lives," said Rodreshia Russaw of TOPS.
The housing will be a pilot program.
Russaw says they hope it brings more awareness and understanding to women who are re-entering society.
