Woman That Robbed Trinity Bank Arrested

On November 4, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to 1479 West Main Street, Trinity Bank, in reference to an armed robbery which had just occurred.

Arriving officers made contact with employees of the bank and learned the suspect had fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money prior to the officer’s arrival.

Video and physical evidence was recovered from the bank.

Investigators began working the case and compared this robbery to others in the region.

Working with the FBI, a suspect was identified, an arrest warrant signed and the search for the suspect began.

The suspect was located on November 7, 2013 in Tampa Florida and taken into custody without incident.

Arrested was Cara Lee Williams, charging her with first degree Robbery. Her arrest now brings this case to a close.

Cara Lee Williams, white female, 28 years of age, of Tampa FL was arrested and charged with first degree Robbery.

She will remain in Federal Custody under no bond. Venue of her prosecution will be determined at a later date.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
