Wiregrass Talent Quest participant, Jessica Knots, says she and her clogging company know what it takes to be named the most talented in the Wiregrass.
"We're in it to win it! So we've practiced a lot and worked hard for it so I'm just ready to get on stage and show em' what we got!"
The Wiregrass Talent Quest will be taking place on September 13th, but first comes the auditions phase.
"I'm nervous because I've done competitions but not in a room like this like with my group."
"This is actually the first talent show that we've ever been in, so I'm kinda just getting my feet wet. We've done a lot of shows and everybody usually enjoys it so I think as long as we give it our best and give a good show I think everybody will enjoy it and maybe we'll have what it takes to win."
"This is my first competition that I've done like this so I'm kinda anxious to see what it feels like, what they expect from me, and stuff like that."
But talent quest officials say this is just phase one of a long process.
"We're looking for twenty contestants to go to the Civic Center on September 13th. Those twenty contestants, we know, will be a diverse group because that's a show in itself. We want these to be the most talented out of all the 85 contestants that will go through the next four days here at the Cultural Arts Center."
So get ready Wiregrass because you might just see one of these familiar faces make it big one day.
