Students at Honeysuckle Middle School created a 3-D mural using bottle caps.

Three teachers and their classes collaborated on the effort.

Teachers say it was all about bringing unity among students and helping them deal with real life issues; such as problem solving and working together.

"To show unity among the different factions in the school because we have special services, we have regular classrooms, we have the LinC students and collaboration showed that no matter what spectrum of life you're from, you can all work together, " said Kevin Bowden, Resource Specialist at HoneySuckle Middle School.

Bowden says they hope to continue to make 3-D murals or just other large art projects that are "outside of the box".
