Amy Creekmore is taking blood for the American Red Cross now, but she's donated it before.

Creekmore said, “I actually had a family member who got in a really bad car accident. I went and gave and he was able to live.”

Creekmore says it changed her life for good and brought her to the Red Cross to help more people give back.

Creekmore said, “It’s been a little slow, but it's been ok.”

Ok because if one person donates, three lives are saved.

Donor Ashley Deer says it's as easy as flipping through a magazine.

Deer said, “I flipped through a wedding magazine because I’m getting married and it took ten minutes.”

Ten minutes of giving that could save another life.
