The Wiregrass Angel House had its annual open house Wednesday.
The house provides services for victims of violent crimes.
And in the hopes of making the holidays a little brighter, they welcomed victims, officers and prosecutors in for some treats.
"I think for families of homicide it’s very special. It’s a very difficult time of year for them so if they can just come and enjoy just a little bit of peace and a little comrodery with the others, they'll really enjoy it." Director of the Wiregrass Angel House, Shelly Linderman said.
Guests were treated to several holiday treats, including chocolate-covered strawberries and a gingerbread house.
