Widespread Power Outages Across West Florida

GRACEVILLE – West Florida Electric Cooperative members are still experiencing many widespread and scattered power outages. Approximately 5,500 members were out of power at 4:30 p.m. due to trees and limbs on power lines.

There are approximately 86 widespread, scattered outages throughout our service area. WFEC serves approximately 28,000 members in Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson and Washington Counties, which is an area that is approximately 100 miles wide. Due to their scattered nature, these outages are expected to take some time to restore. Please be patient and allow adequate time for repairs to be made before calling to report an outage a second time.

West Florida Electric line crews are working to restore all outages at this time.

Please call (800) 342-7400 to report outages and please stay away from any downed power lines you may encounter. WFEC would like to thank all of its members for their patience and cooperation throughout restoration efforts.
