White House Office Warns Federal Agencies

By  |

The White House budget office has warned federal agencies to prepare for a government shutdown.

A memo from the director of the office of management and budget has instructed the agencies to update their plans in the event Congress doesn’t reach a budget deal before Sept 30.

At this time, budget negotiations are still at a standstill.

Republicans have called for spending cuts and a repeal of the 2010 Health Care law.

President Obama has stated that he won’t negotiate on the law.
