Chipley, Fla -- Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrest two people in connection with thefts that happened at a local church.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Faith Journey Baptist Church in reference to a reported theft on Wednesday, March 19th. Investigators found several pieces of equipment had been stolen including mowers, box blades, and mower reels.
During the investigation, two suspects were identified and subsequently arrested in connection with the thefts.
22-year-old Allen Paul Rhodes and 27-year-old David Robert Melanchuk were both arrested for two counts of trespassing and two counts of theft. Additional charges are expected.
