The Washington County Florida Courthouse will soon be just a memory.
You may remember, workers were relocated last year to the Annex Building after mold was discovered in the courthouse.
County Commissioners reviewed how much it would cost to renovate the courthouse.
Fixing the mold and mildew issues as well as structural problems and leaks would cost about$ 5 million.
"Both numbers are big numbers for Washington County. We're having to digest and absorb how we're going to effectuate whether its remodeling or rebuilding," said Washington Co. Attorney, Jeff Goodman.
Officials will meet again next month to further discuss plans.
The Washington County Courthouse, by the way, is 90 years old.
