Walton County: Urban & Stream Flood Advisory until 5:45am

Heavy rains with slow-moving storms are producing high rainfall totals this morning in Walton County.

At 3:44am this morning, forecasters with the National Weather Service in Tallahassee were tracking a line of strong, slow thunderstorms over parts of the panhandle of Florida.

These storms, present over southern portions of Walton County, were producing 1 to 2 inches of rain per hour. A storm spotter in Eucheeanna reported up to 3 inches of rain in the past couple of hours.

Be sure not to drive or walk into any areas of water you can't judge the depth of.
