A Walton County man is behind bars on murder charges tonight.
In a news conference this morning, Florida State Attorney Bill Eddins and Walton County Sheriff Mike Adkinson announced a break in a missing couple’s case.
The investigation began last may in Santa Rosa Beach.
27-year-old Barry Davis was arrested on 2-counts of murder.
Police say Davis was in possession of the victims' car and furniture.
He's accused of murdering ...
John Gregory Hughes of Santa Rosa Beach ... And Heidi Rhodes of Panama City. Their bodies have not been found. Hughes' family is from Hartford. The victims’ family is offering a 20-thousand dollar reward leading to the finding of the remains’. Anyone with information should contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office….
