Student line workers at Wallace Community College are getting new tools.

Two major donors, the Wiregrass Electric Cooperative and the Governor's Office Workforce Development, are giving a new pole trailer and a 100 thousand dollar grant for equipment.

GOWD says they hope to close national skill gaps in the field.

Officials say real world equipment in the classroom will help everyone stay safe in the long run.
