Some Wallace Community College students were recognized for their hard work Tuesday. It was the school's Honor's Day Convocation.

Students were given Academic and Career-Focused Awards and Scholarships.

They were recognized for their participation in extracurricular activities.

Dale County Superintendent Donny Bynum was the keynote speaker.

He encouraged students to make positive impacts on others.

Alexia Vasquez was this years President's Award Recipient. The President's Award is given to one outstanding college sophomore student based on academics, leadership, and community service.
