Walton County Sheriff's Office Animal Shelter Receives Animal ID Machine

The Walton County Sheriff's Office Animal Shelter is now able to provide free pet ID tags thanks to Bill Bard and Friends of the Walton County Animal Shelter.

Pet owners are strongly encouraged to have a collar ID as a form of identification to insure a pet will be returned home if they ever get lost.

Please call animal control for more information at 850.892.8758. Captain Audie Rowell, who oversees the shelter stated, "This is a great program that can help lost pets get returned to their owners without having to take a trip to the animal shelter."
