Many volunteers with the human resource development corporation were honored for their selfless service today.
W-t-v-y morning anchor Demetria McClenton was there to help honor the volunteers.
They all had lunch at the greater Beulah Baptist Church.
And there was no shortage of thanks...
"They help us do various things in our offices...they do our food bags for our food pantry. We also partner with the wiregrass area food bank to do the brown bag program and they help us bag our food every month. “Resource Development Corporation CEO June Maloy said.
Maloy says the volunteers are role models for the community.
