Victim Holds Robbery Suspects at Gunpoint

A victim of a robbery in progress held the suspects up at gunpoint while waiting for deputies to arrive.

According to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, a man noticed a suspicious red pick-up truck off County Road 9 near Newton on Saturday.

The victim told deputies the truck was loaded with scrap metal from his property.

He proceeded to hold the three suspects at gun point before deputies detained them.

They have been identified as Nicholas Edward Freese, Sean Martin Yates, and Jimmy Duane Bush.

All three were arrested for theft of property and taken to Dale County Jail.
