Verizon Donates Grant to Prevent Child Abuse

A local business is celebrating its grand re-opening by helping out those affected by domestic violence.

The new interactive Verizon Wireless Store on Ross Clark Circle was officially re-opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a check presentation.

A check of $1,00 was given to the Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention. Pamela Miles, Executive Director of the center, says grants like this keep the facility open.
