For the past two days, business owners say, graffiti has become a problem in downtown Dothan.
"There are murals on both sides of me. They're just beautiful. My concern is the graffiti getting out of control. It's very ugly. It takes away from the downtown that the businesses are trying to incorporate as far as building up the downtown."
The words "Bang-A-Rang" and "Dothan is Ours" have been scribbled and stenciled in at least five different places in downtown Dothan, including the federal building.
So what is "Bang-A-Rang?" It's a popular song by an American electronic music producer, Skrillex.
"I just know I've seen the song. It's some song that I guess is kinda popular. I was told earlier it's a video with kids kinda runnin' amuck in the town. I think it's just think it's one of those childish youth movement songs and it's just a phase and we just need them to outgrown this phase sooner rather than later."
"If we make a big deal of it now, it can be stopped. I will support whatever it is that needs support to stop the graffiti."
"We don't find this funny, we don't find it cool and if you get caught we're gonna prosecute you to the fullest. It's just taking unnecessary time and unnecessary resources away from what we're trying to accomplish."
Tidmore says the development of downtown Dothan is his business and he's eager to cooperate with police in this investigation.
