UPDATE: Two Possible Victims Following Apparent Shooting in Enterprise

UPDATE: This story was updated at 2:14 p.m. with additional information from the Enterprise Police Department.

At 11:10 a.m. the Enterprise Police Department responded to shots fired in the 100 block of Pine Leaf Drive in Enterprise.

While en-route to the scene Officers were notified that a possible victim was being transported to Medical Center Enterprise in a silver SUV.

When EPD officers arrived on scene they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. After a preliminary investigation, it was determined that Max Bass, 63, of Enterprise, shot the victim and then shot himself.

At the time of this press release both victim and suspect are in stable condition.

This is an ongoing investigation and no other information will be released at this time.
After 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 a call for an apparent shooting was issued in Enterprise.

The incident is believed to have occurred between Rucker Blvd and Briarwood Drive.

There are two possible victims. Authorities are believed to be looking for a gray SUV.
