TROY -- Fifteen members of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Troy University began their journey of 125 miles from their college campus to Panama City Beach.
This is a part of their efforts to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. They have raised $16,200 this year for the organization.
“What we're here to do is show our support for them, show them that, we the men of Alpha Tau Omega, we understand the sacrifices that they have made and we want to be able to give that back,” said Hunter Roe.
They plan to arrive at Pier Park in Panama City Beach on Wednesday Afternoon. If anyone would like to donate to their efforts, visit www.walkhard.org. All proceeds go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.
