Tropical Storm Isaac Officially Named a Hurricane

After days of slow movement and unpredictability, what was Tropical Storm Isaac has officially been named a CAT 1 hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico.

The National Hurricane Center has confirmed that Isaac has now been upgraded to a hurricane with winds of about 75 mph.
