This year's sales tax holiday on back to school items gets underway in a little more than six hours.
This weekend both Florida and Alabama will waive the tax on certain clothing, school supplies, and computers.
With summer winding down, the tri-cities chamber of commerce is encouraging travelers to stop and purchase merchandise in Lockhart, Florala and Paxton before heading down to the beaches.
