A man is dead after being hit by a car in Panama City.
It happened early this morning on the corner of 15th street and M.L.K Boulevard.
Police say 56-year-old Samuel Davis was struck by a car heading down highway 98 when he was trying to cross the road.
The driver has been identified as Darrell Clanton.
While no charges are pending at this time, anyone with information is urged to contact the Panama City Police Department at 850-872-3112.
