An Arizona-based trade association is warning of a "tomato cliff".
Florida tomato growers want the U.S. Department of Commerce to terminate agreements on Mexican tomato imports.
However, the Fresh Produce Associaton of America held a conference in Arizona and says that this would not be good for consumers.
The group sponsored a study that said prices would double if mexican tomatoes are forced to withdraw.
Florida produces much of the nation's winter tomatoes.
