Toadlick Music Festival Wants to Help

UPDATED: "We're here today to announce a partnership with Toadlick, " announced David Hanks, Director, at Wiregrass Area Food Bank.

Two organizations, one goal, feeding the Wiregrass.

"We're very excited about this, this couldn't come at a better time of the year, " says Hanks.

Toadlick will be donating 10% of all their December ticket sales to the food bank; which covers Houston, Henry, Dale, Coffee, Geneva and Barbour counties.

"We take for granted those basic needs sometimes and to be able to help and provide for people that may not have that fortunate ability to it is huge, " says Chris Gilbert, Founder of Toadlick Music Festival.

"The holidays are our busiest time and we need the most assistance we can get from the community and this partnership will help provide that at a time when people are needing more assistance than ever, " says Hanks.

"We're just honored to be in a position to where we can help people, here at the holidays especially, " says Gilbert.

Help for the community, one plate at a time.

"Toadlick is a big deal for us in this community and we want to give back in every way that we can, " says Gilbert.

"A lot of times when we get past the holidays, people don't see the need as much, going into January and the early part of the year. The need remains the same, so any assistance we can get during those times is perfect, " says Hanks.

Ten percent of proceeds comes out to $8.90 per ticket, equaling 77 meals.
