A complex of thunderstorms brought rain and lightning to parts of the Wiregrass late Sunday evening.
Between 6pm and 10:00pm, a complex of storms moved through communities such as Troy, Ozark, Midland City and surrounding areas.
Cairns Army Air Field in Ozark observed the thunderstorm around 7pm, while the Andalusia-Opp Municipal Airport recorded 81 hundreths of an inch of rain in a three hour period beginning just before 8pm.
The storms produced frequent lightning at times, along with some downpours. However, there were no confirmed reports of damage from these storms as of early Monday morning.
