An investigation into these reports led to evidence being recovered and three suspects being charged.

On June 25 the Houston County Sheriff's Office charged Thomas Warren Tabor, 28, of Dothan with Theft of Property in the first degree and Theft of Property in the second degree. He is being held in the Houston County Jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
