The Poplar Head Farmers Market 2014 Season Comes To a Close

Wiregrass residents say goodbye to another season of the Poplar Head Farmer's Market in downtown Dothan.

Lasting from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m, shoppers made their last go rounds in Dothan Civic Center parking lot.
Today's vending consisted of a variety of fresh produce, plants and pottery. Downtown Group officials say next year's Poplar Head Farmer's Market will be bigger and better.

"I would love to come back and support this and purchase some of these homemade goods. There's a lot of things out here, vegetables and not only that but there's crafts and ceramics. It's awesome," said Kami Winfrey, a Poplar Farmer's Market shopper.

If you would like to be a vendor in next year's farmer's market, you can contact the Downtown Group at 334-793-3097.
