ARITON -- The Ariton Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad received a second ambulance on Monday. This emergency vehicle is replacing a 1992 model.
It is up to date with technology and has more room for passengers.
Rescue crews said this will allow them to be better equipped to cover the community on busy days.
"It's good in our community to have two ambulances," Rescue Captain Rhonda Peters said. "When we have to cover football games and different other activities."
