Today is one of the last days of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
This week focues on sexual abuse.
The Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center partnered with Wiregrass Mall to sponsor Koins for Kids.
The center is using the money raised through this campaign to offer free thearpy to affected families.
Last year, there were 322 reported cases of sexual abuse.
"It is here, it is all around us. It doesn't affect just one type of socio-economic group of people,"said Ivy Andress, Forensic Interviewer for CAC. "And I think education is the biggest componet. "
The fundraiser at the mall is happening until 7 tonight.
