The 6th annual "Jon Jam" benefited a good cause at the Wiregrass Rehab Center Saturday.
Jon Lee fell and injured his spine in 2008. Friends organized the event to help cover his medical bills. Since then, the event took off and continues to raise money and provide medical equipment to those in need.
The money raised also benefits the "Refurbished Equipment Assisting Lives" Program or R.E.A.L. Project.
"The R.E.A.L. Project takes in used medical equipment, then we make it available to the public free of charge-We don't turn down anybody of course the idea is to have recycled programs to help people without the insurance so they can get some equipment when needed," says Jon Lee.
The Jam also features a chilli cook-off, live music and more fun activities.
