The U.S Coast Guard says it's making progress cleaning up an oil spill that dumped about 168,000 gallons of oil into one of the world's busiest shipping channels.
Dozens of ships aren't being allowed to enter the Houston Shipping Channel after a boat and barge collided on Saturday, March 22nd.
Crews have drained all of the remaining oil from the damaged barge and set up a containment boom along the shoreline.
The channel connects Galveston Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. It's one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.
The cause of the collision is under investigation. Officials say heavy fog may be to blame.
