Tampered Halloween Candy with Pill Discovered in Bay County

This candy bar, which had been tampered with, was found in a child's Halloween Candy collected at Panama City Beach.

Thursday, the Bay County Sherriff’s office received a complaint of tampered Halloween candy.

The Three Musketeers candy bar was part of the candy received by a child in the Grand Lagoon Shores II area of Panama City Beach, Florida.

The capsule inside of the candy bar, brown in color, was identified as 2 milligrams of Prazosin Hydrochloride. This is a medication typically used to treat high blood pressure.

All parents are urged to inspect any Halloween candy before allowing children to eat it.

If anyone suspects their children's candy has been tampered with, you should report this immediately to local law enforcement.
