Taco Bell is doing away with kid’s meals and toys at all US restaurants.
The company announced on Tuesday that they will phase out the children’s items by next year.
In a statement, Taco Bell’s CEO said it “no longer makes sense” to spend resources for kid’s meals and toys and that the change will have an “insignificant” impact on sales.
Taco Bell says it is the first national fast food chain to eliminate kid’s meals. The move comes amid pressure from health food groups for the fast food industry to improve the nutrition of kids meals.
