Study: Twitter Helps You Lose Weight!

Twitter can help you lose weight according to a new study from the University of South Carolina.

Researchers followed nearly a hundred people who were trying to lose weight, some who were connected via twitter, some not.

The Twitter group received informational tweets from a weight loss counselor.

They also tweeted between each other with weight loss updates and support for one another.

While both groups lost weight, the group that used Twitter lost more.
