Storm of Persistence: Nadine Nearly a Hurricane Once More

After forming on September 11th, fading briefly and then returning, Nadine could become a hurricane once more.

As of 4am Central Time, the sixty-third advisory issued by the Hurricane Center showed that Nadine had sustained winds of seventy miles per hour. That’s just 4 miles per hour shy of hurricane strength!

It was far from land, at nearly 750 miles southwest of the Azores Islands. Thus, it is not expected to cause a danger to any land masses.

Meanwhile, the Pacific, Miriam has weakened as expected and is no longer a tropical cyclone.
