If you would like to a be a trained storm spotter, you now have your chance.
The Basic storm spotter class will be offered at Troy University on the main campus on Tuesday October 16th starting at 6pm Central Time.
Those trained will become spotters in the SKYWARN network.
SKYWARN weather spotters help local weather service offices by providing "ground truth" on storms such as tornadoes and any damage.
