Just after 10 a.m. on Sunday, the quick moving weather system moved across Enterprise and eastern Coffee County.
It downed power lines in the historic West College Street district and downtown Enterprise. A power pole partially fell at the busy intersection of East Lee Street and Glover Avenue. Traffic had to be temporarily re-routed with a power line hanging across the roadway.
In addition, several large trees fell. One caused temporary closure on Coffee County Road 700.
Fortunately, Alabama Power and city crews quickly responded and restored service to the affected neighborhoods. There were no reported injuries.
