The line of severe weather that moved through the Wiregrass early Tuesday night left its mark on Yvonne Drive in Enterprise.
Marilyn Jackson and her son, Marquise, were out-of-town when a large pine tree fell through their roof and into the teenager’s bedroom.
Several large trees along with power lines came down in the area. Wind gusts were reported nearby at more than 60-miles-per-hour. Today, homeowners stayed busy clearing up the debris.
Jackson says she is just glad she and her son were not home.
"It's just a blessing we weren't home. It's just a blessing that my son and I were in Louisiana at the time and thank god we weren't here when it came through," she said.
Tonight, we will hear from an Enterprise electrician who has been repairing damage from several residential lighting strikes over recent days.
