States 4-H Japanese Delegates Say Goodbye to the Wiregrass

Several Wiregrass families said tearful goodbyes this morning at the Dothan Regional Airport.

Around 11 a.m. the visiting Japanese Delegates from the States 4-H program boarded a plane back home. Their host families were there to see them off.

The delegates stayed with families in the Wiregrass for a month and enjoyed activities like going to the beach, amusement parks and learning about living on a farm.

Although it was an emotional day for the families and delegates, both say they loved the experience and are hoping to participate again in the future.
