A year-long state audit of Zion Chapel School has uncovered serious financial discrepancies.
On Friday, February 14th The Alabama Department of Public Examiners released an audit of the K-12 school. It shows the school is short nearly $50,000.
Coffee County School Superintendent Sr. Don McPherson says local authorities have been contacted about the missing funds.
The Coffee County School Board will call a special meeting to discuss the audit.
