Star Trek: The Next Generation Returns to Theaters
The cast and crew of the Federation Starship Enterprise-D will be returning to theatres.
As part of promoting the upcoming Blu-Ray home video release of Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 2, Fathom Event s and CBS Home Entertainment will have a one-day special event in late November.
On November 29th, hundreds of theatres across the country will show the Season 2 episodes “Q, Who?” (which features the first appearance of the Borg, longtime nemesis of the Federation that later appeared frequently in Star Trek: Voyager) and a never-before-seen extended edition of “The Measure of a Man.” (That episode features the question of popular character of Lieutenant Commander Data: Man or Machine?)
These episodes have been re-mastered from the original film elements for high definition.
No wiregrass theatres are currently schedule to feature the event. The nearest theatres that will show the two episodes will be in Destin (Destin Commons 14) and Montgomery (Festival Plaza 16).
The Blu-Ray set of Season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation will be released in the United States on December 4th.
