The Southeast Alabama Community Theater stage belongs to children as the organization launches its summer season.
Mark your calendars for a week of acting and learning about theater by having fun with Miss Eddie and Miss Margo. Registration is now available for SEACT’s Theater Camps for Children, week-long sessions for ages 5 and up.
Camp directors Eddie Farnham and Margo Wright incorporate the basics of theater including oral presentation, costumes, props, choreography, blocking and backstage with the thrill of a leading role. Every child gets a part and every child has a moment in the spotlight in SEACT’s original productions written especially for the children. At the end of the week, parents and friends are invited to enjoy the final productions and a cast party. 2013 session dates are June 10-14, June 17-21, July 8-12, and July 15-19. Cost per week is $100 for SEACT Contributors and $120 for non-contributors. Registration includes a certificate of participation, cast photo, t-shirt and cast party.
SEACT’s Summer Camp is made possible thanks to SEACT Contributors through season ticket sales, and local families and businesses. Registration forms and more information now available at www.SEACT.com.
