Some National Parks Could Be Reopening

Some National Parks could soon reopen.

The Obama administration notified states they can reopen some closed national parks as long as they use their own money to pay for it.

The Governors of four states had asked for that authority.

More than 20,000 National Park employees have been furloughed and nearby communities that depend on tourism are taking a hit.

Some Governors are concerned about the cost.

Arizona's Governor is considering re-opening part of the Grand Canyon.
