Employees from across the Wiregrass spoke to students about their jobs.
Slocomb Middle School had their first career fair Tuesday afternoon.
The goal was to prepare students for life after they graduate.
Speakers talked about jobs requirements as well as dual enrollment, which is taking classes in high school that count as college credit.
"I'm hoping that not only, I, but others can learn what to look for and what to expect in job fields and what to look for going into high school," said Julianne Thomas, student at Slocomb Middle School.
Hartford Middle School will have their career fair on Thursday.
