Slocomb Elementary School Precaution

A Geneva county man is jailed for making a terrorist threat to a state department of human resources employee in Montgomery.
Robert Lawrence reportedly referred to the "sandy hook" shootings in his remark.
Without getting into specifics, school superintendent Becky Birdsong says increased security measures were taken at both Slocomb elementary and high school. But, at "no" time was the campus under a lockdown. The superintendent says this is standard operating procedure. She states "no" threats were made to faculty or students. Rumors circulated on Facebook immediately. Lawrence is being held at the Geneva County
