The Storm Prediction Center has outlined a risk of severe thunderstorms for Monday afternoon across parts of Southern Alabama and Georgia, as well as a portion of the Florida panhandle.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, unstable air could mean that a few showers and thunderstorms could produce damaging straight line winds and possibly large hail between the early afternoon and 10pm on Monday.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlined a “slight” risk of severe storms for that forecast area, which include cities such as Mobile, Dothan, Enterprise, Blakely, Marianna and surrounding areas.
